A veteran-led crew in Stafford County

The people who run Fieldstake still walk the job sites every week.

Fieldstake started in 2016, when a Marine Corps combat engineer retired after 22 years and went back to the work he knew, facilities upkeep and small construction jobs.

The first contract was grounds care and snow response for a training center in Stafford County. The crew grew from there, mostly with veterans who ran maintenance shops and construction crews in uniform.

We stay small on purpose. Every job is planned on paper before anyone arrives on site, and the office returns calls the same day.
